Launched in November 2004, the Procurement Development Programme (PDP) is a Pan
London initiative designed to train, inform, mentor and support SMEs (companies
with fewer than 250 staff) in London for the purpose of locating, bidding for
and winning lucrative contracts from public sector organisations such as the
NHS, Local Authorities and large private organisations, such as BT.
How it is run
This 3 year programme run in partnership with the Greater London Authority
(GLA), the London Development Agency (LDA), is delivered in partnership with
key strategic partners across London. These partners are the Haringey Business
Development Agency (HBDA), Nichols Employment Agency (NEA), CSC Regeneration
and Research and the Enfield Enterprise Agency (EEA). Each of our partners
plays a fundamental role to the delivery of this programme.
Aims
Our aim is to support SMEs, particularly those that are minority owned to
improve their tendering capacity and to become fit to tender for worthwhile
supply contracts.
Who it is designed for
The programme is designed for all small to medium sized enterprises with a
product and/or service that they can successfully and competitively supply to
funded bodies (such as the NHS or the council) or to large private
organisations.
Once a tendering opportunity has been identified, Tender to Win can help in
clarifying the client’s needs, writing tender proposals, mentoring and support
throughout the tendering process. We are committed to handholding, consulting
and advice and to running training programmes that introduce prospective
suppliers to the tendering process.
We help you at every step.
