The PDP central aim is encapsulated in the key expression: 'Tender to Win'. Our
free services are geared towards assisting clients win contracts including:
-
Where to find out about invitations to tender
-
How to bid
-
How to win
-
Being competitive
-
Fulfilling your contract after you have been successful.
We are here from the beginning through to the end, to support your business
through various in house activities such as:
Research:
Helping your organisation research lucrative tendering opportunities in your
field of business.
Training Programmes:
Our training programmes enable you understand the market requirements for your
product/service and how best to become a supplier and in some cases, a
Preferred/Approved supplier. Enabling you become privy to negotiated tendering.
A preferred/approved supplier is a pre-vetted company invited to tender for
contracts for supplies, services and works by public sector organisations.
Being on the approved list does not guarantee the award of contracts, however,
for some low value contracts some local authorities prefer to use suppliers
from their approved/preferred list.
Tendering Support:
In some cases where your business is not yet established, the PDP through our
partners HBDA (Haringey
Business Development Agency) can help you set up your business and support you
through the process of becoming tender ready. We also provide tendering
documentation support, where we vet the tender document you have prepared, to
ensure they pass the initial stage.
Mentoring:
This is a handholding service, taking you through the steps towards tendering on
a one to one basis. Our ongoing mentoring service is designed to give maximum
support and guidance to all businesses in need of a face to face guidance
counsellor regarding their business.
Diagnostics Consulting:
We carry out internal diagnostics to help determine the companies capacity and
the structure in place to support tendering activities. For more help, our
consulting service includes a bid writing service by expert bid writers.
Networking Events:
'The Market Place' is the most fruitful place for suppliers to meet their
potential clients. We organise a buyers' and sellers' forum where SMEs can meet
their prospective clients in an informal and supportive environment.
All organisations who have registered an interest will automatically be invited
to these events as they become publicised.
What to do next:
For established businesses, we can help you identify and bid for tendering
opportunities in the capital. For more details, contact
Tender to Win.
If you are a pre-start or start up business and you are interested in tendering,
contact HBDA in order to
set up and register your business. Once this is done, we can then advise you on
tendering opportunities in your area of specialisation and equip you for
bidding for these contracts.
